These are guidelines to diving lessons. There will be an evaluation at the end of each diving session and the appropriate class will be recommended by the coaches for the next session. If you are new to the classes, feel free to contact Piper for appropriate placement.

Our ultimate goal is to teach kids how to dive and how to be competitive while still having fun. We strive to make a positive experience out of learning something new. Diving is very much an individual effort and every person has a different mental and emotional way of learning. With positive motivation and safe skill development, diving can be a great way to achieve both physical and mental confidence. As a club, each individual learns to contribute to the success of the team and build a sense of camaraderie and accomplishment. These are all skills which we believe are useful in life as well.

This is a class for those who like diving and have decided that they want to pursue the sport of diving and dive year round. This level of the team is to continue the art of competition. Divers should know forward dive, back dive, reverse dive, inward dive, forward 1-1/2 ss, back 1 ss, reverse 1ss, inward 1ss, and will start working on all of their 1-1/2 ss and their diving mechanics. This is a great level for the high school diver who would like to continue diving year round.
